EE301: Introductory Research Seminar in Electrical Engineering

Stanford University, Autumn Quarter 2023

About EE301

  • The EE 301 seminar course is offered to first-year PhD students in Electrical Engineering. All students (PhD, M.S. and B.S.) and faculty in the department are welcome to attend. A weekly seminar is held at Shriram 104 every Friday (9:30 AM - 11:20 AM PDT), during 09/26/2023 - 12/08/2023.

  • EE faculty will present their research so that newly arriving graduate students get a good sense of the research being conducted across the Electrical Engineering Department. This also allows new PhD students to learn about research in EE, help them with rotation choices as well as choosing a professor to align with.

  • Please note that some seminars will be remote through Zoom (see the schedule).

Course Requirements

  • Attendance: Attendance in 15 out of 20 lectures is required for first-year EE PhD students to satisfy EE PhD requirements. Before every lecture, we will distribute a unique QR Code and students scan the QR Code to sign up the attendance. We assume all students follow the honor code .
